Mapping Our Shores

In 1965 the National Trust carried out a mapping survey of the entire coastline of England, Wales & Northern Ireland. This Neptune Coastline Campaign data, including the original hand-annotated maps, is compared to 2014 data prepared by the University of Leicester. An absolutely essential resource for examining coastal change over the last 50 years. Also a source of important secondary data for GCSE and A Level fieldwork studies.
